Nuclear Power Plants: Better or Worse?

I think, Nuclear Power Plants are worse for the environment. I mean, sure it won't pollute with greenhouse gases but what if one explodes? Cities will need to evacuate and it'll take years for us to be able to return. What do YOU think?
