Should i get a GHD? & whats a flat iron..?

The only flat iron I've known of in my 73 years on this earth is the heavy, black cast metal one which is heated up on the gas stove or fire and used for ironing clothes. Maybe I'm more than a touch behind this modern world there may well be another later invention with the same name. You certainly wouldn't want to use the thing I know of. Anyway, curly hair is great! I don't have much left.
