What do I do in such a fragile situation?

Ok I have known this girl (fictional name: Abby) for 8 months now. We live 2000 miles away but met, "dated", and have kept close contact for these 8 months. About 3 months into our relationship she told me that she had been d by her grandfather at the age of 8 she is now 15. I freaked out and was infuriated at this man for what he had done to the girl I had such strong feelings for but she said for me not to worry about it and when I would ask for any kinds of detail on the subject or ask her if she told anyone she would say no I told no one because they wouldn't believe me and it would just cause trouble. So 5 months later (present) she has told me that he still molests her!!!! I could not believe it! This was the most angry I have EVER been if I wasn't 2000 miles away I would have killed the man at that instant... I asked her why doesn't she kick him off and fight back? Or yell or tell someone and she simply replies, "I don't want to talk about it." WTF?!?! I need to help her I have to! But how? She doesn't want to tell me anything because its to traumatic for her? I don't know but I wish she would let me in... I have a friend that might have some ties to "handle" this guy but she said if I do anything like that she will shut me out and never talk to me again... How can I help and protect the girl I love when she doesn't want the help? She just tells me not to worry about it which is stupid to say! Do I just handle the situation and save her or forget about it and wait till I have the means to go to her myself (which could be awhile because I'm still in highschool and thus being stuck so far away) so if you were able to read this far please answer accordingly, any advice would be greatly appreciated.
